District Announces Revised Rates Effective April 1
February 18, 2026 — The District has announced revised residential water and sewer rates, plus a reduction in the number of pricing tiers, effective April 1.
The new pricing reflects increasing maintenance and operating costs for the services provided to the District’s 4,500 customers. The last rate revision occurred in 2006. Pricing tiers were adjusted in 2012.
The revisions also bring the District’s rates in line with those of other utilities in the area for water and sewer services.
The North Harris County Regional Water Authority fee reflects the actual cost of purchased water by the district and is currently $3.05 per 1,000 gallons. This will not change unless the NHCRWA adjusts the rates it charges the District.
